15 Most Pulse-Pounding Motörhead Tracks

3. Bomber

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUid-tZCwD4 Recorded the same as year as Motörhead's seminal classic, Overkill, "Bomber" is the closing track on the album of the same name released in 1979. One of Motörhead's most popular tracks and a live favourite to this day, Bomber finds Lemmy waxing lyrical about one of his favourite subjects; war:
Scream a thousand miles, Feel the black death rising moan, Firestorm coming closer, Napalm to the bone, Because, you know we do it right, A mission every night, It's a bomber.
"Bomber" is a dirty, raucous number that remains one of Motörhead's greatest anthems and feels like an onslaught of noise and aggression from the minute the song takes flight. Lemmy would return to the subject of war many times on future albums but it is here that he blends the perfect cocktail of sound and subject matter.

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
