15 Most Pulse-Pounding Motörhead Tracks

10. Born To Lose

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj0uF4ChTrA The trend for ferocious opening tracks continues as "Born to Lose" introduces 2011's The World Is Yours album in suitable style. This is pulverising hard rock delivered with conviction and the requisite Motörhead punch whilst also providing a few unexpected surprises of its own. At two minutes and 10 seconds an almost doom metal-esque riff arrives, one which wouldn't sound out of place on a Candlemass or Cathedral album, and one which you may be surprised to hear on a Motörhead track. When this riff is then swiftly accompanied by an exquisite Phil Campbell solo and followed by an electrifying - yet all too short - staccato riff, the track instantly leaps into the upper echelons of Motörhead's oeuvre. Beware, listening to "Born To Lose" in 2014 will still result in furious head-banging; 100% proof that Motörhead's well of ideas had yet to run dry. Born to lose? Born winners more like!

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
