15 Ridiculous Cover Versions That Are Better Than The Original

7. Despicable Me's Minions Perform I Swear

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPi67u9GGiQ In 1994, the song "I Swear" was released by both country artist John Michael Montgomery as well as R&B group All-4-One. The All-4-One version released a few months after the country version and had a slight lyric change, but they were effectively the same song. All-4-One even released a music video to help promote it and it wound up hitting #1 in the United States and #2 in the UK charts. Now, almost 20 years later, the song has been covered by another popular group, though this time they aren't popular just for singing. The Minions in Despicable Me 2 perform a couple of songs during the wedding and reception at the end of the film. One of those songs is "I Swear," though since they don't speak English, it actually comes out as being "Underwear." Probably one of the funniest cover songs on this list and the only animated one.
