Tracks like Bricks, Drones and Worth Dying For still had the snarl of the band's earlier material, but crossover-appeal songs like Prayer of the Refugee, Injection, and the humungous flag-planter Survive would put them on a path that transcended the older punk trappings some bands just never escape.
