1. Myles Kennedy Is God

Hmm, how to put this into words....is it through describing his exquisite vibrato that instantly makes you go "That's Myles!" on any recording? Perhaps his four octave vocal range that goes from the lowest lows on Slash-track 'Not For Me' all the way up to AB III's escalating vocal-showcase Breathe Again? Perhaps the mere fact that he's played with Led Zeppelin might do it for you?

There's just something about Myles' entire personality; from the devout work ethic garnered from all the backstage footage that proves his career and family come first - whereby he refrains from talking to much just to preserve his vocal chords for later performances - through to his innately humble approach to his own abilities on guitar, where if you've seen any of his earlier guitar competition-winning performances you'll know; we've not even begun to see what he can actually do with the instrument.

With Mark Tremonti's first discovery of Kennedy's prowess on the guitar that first lead to him playing a much bigger role in the recording process for each subsequent album, Alter Bridge and Myles are currently riding higher than any of them ever have before, and it's thanks to the band being the sum of its parts and something altogether greater too.
