20 Most Annoying Songs Of The New Millennium

3. James Blunt - You're Beautiful

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oofSnsGkops Yes, James Blunt is an easy target, we all know this. There is nobody that doesn't make fun of James Blunt. Hell, even James Blunt makes fun of James Blunt. People even go so far as to write mean things on posters for his albums on the tube (this graffiti is a common sight on the London Underground at the moment). But this whiny, self-pitying little slice of weepy ballad hell about coming to terms with that girl on the subway being with another man grated on us all for the latter half of 2005. Ridiculously popular and very overplayed around the time of its release, 'You're Beautiful' is haunting in all the wrong ways.

2. Psy - Gangnam Style

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0 Well, this one truly needs no introduction. 'Gangnam Style,' a K-Pop viral sensation, arrived in 2012 to wreak havoc on the good old world wide web (and our ears). In late December of the same year, it became the first YouTube video to reach a billion views. Accompanied by a zany video and spawning a major dance craze (Psy allegedly spent 30 days working to perfect his signature movements), Gangnam Style is, unfortunately, irresistibly catchy. There was a time you couldn't go anywhere without hearing it, meaning that even if you'd just managed to shake it out of your head for the thousandth time, you couldn't get away with it for long. Oh, and President Obama is allegedly quite a fan.
