7. Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like S**t, I Don't Go Outside
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZ5Mu2gs-M8Watching the growth of Earl Sweatshirt as a rapper has been an interesting experience to say the least. Fans were given small hints at how good of a rapper he is when Odd Future burst onto the scene and then when he released his debut album Doris in 2013 that was all confirmed.
However, it's his latest album, I Don't Like S**t, I Don't Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt, that finally showcases his talents to the hip hop world. Earl's monotone voice yet complex wordplay can be a bit strange at first but once listeners get used to it he quickly shows how awesome he is.
Not only is he frighteningly honest about his feelings on certain subjects going on in his life, his skills as a producer have increased significantly. In fact, he produced every song on the album bar from Off The Top, which was put together by fellow former Odd Future member Left Brain.
I Don't Like S**t, I Don't Go Outside, is a wonderful album from a very talented individual who isn't even close to reaching his peak yet. Now that's scary.
