20 Most Underrated Nu-Metal Anthems

16. Taproot – Again & Again

Another nu-metal band that didn’t get enough recognition were the adventurous Taproot. Their 2000 debut album Gift still remains one of nu-metal’s best kept secrets, but don’t let it go unearthed because it features a great bunch of songs, in particular, the stellar single ‘Again and Again.’

Rhythmic overdriven guitars and a versatile vocal performance are the order of the day here, as well as one of the catchiest choruses ever concocted under the nu-metal umbrella. It got some airplay, but not enough for such a well-written track – one that is compatible for radio play, as much as it is for your Spotify bangers playlist.

I dare you not to singalong to this anthemic tune. After the third listen, you’ll be hooked on the song’s hard-hitting instrumentation and fist-pumping vocal melody.
