20 Things Only Blink-182 Fans Understand

18. Travis Literally Doesn€™t Get The Credit He Deserves

What most non-blink-182 fans don€™t realise about the classic teen comedy American Pie is that the band makes an appearance during Jason Biggs€™ ill-fated scene with Shannon Elizabeth€™s Nadia. What only the real fans know is that Travis is credited as former drummer Scott Raynor, who€™d left the band the previous year. Since both Enema of the State and American Pie were out in the summer of 1999, whoever was working on the credits must have been using information from the band€™s last record, Dude Ranch, which Raynor was of course the drummer on. Bonus points for also spotting the film€™s music credits on Mutt misspelling Travis€™ surname.

17. Back The Brand

You've got the old school Atticus Double Cross tee, a few pairs of Macbeth shoes piled up alongside your Vans and/or Converse, and a big fat F on more tees in your cupboard than you can count. Not only have the trio conquered the music world, they€™ve also conquered the retail world, setting up their own brands with Famous Stars and Straps, Macbeth, and Atticus. Over the years, the companies have successfully established themselves as leaders of their markets, bringing out awesome shoes, tees, hats €“ the whole shebang. And not only that, but they€™ve also had some great collaborations with other musical artists. Macbeth has its Studio Projects, working to bring new lines designed with the likes of Say Anything€™s Max Bemis, Circa Survive€™s Anthony Green, Green Day€™s Mike Dirnt, and so many others. And Atticus has of course released a handful of their Dragging the Lake CD compilations, promoting up-and-coming bands alongside titans of the genre.
