12. Early Trilogies
Jimin's favourite number is three. No, that's not your entire entry, but it may inform why BTS liked to express themselves in musical trilogies when they started out.
In 2013, 2 Cool 4 Skool was released, followed by "O!RUL8,2?" and 2014's Skool Luv Affair rounds out their so-called School Trilogy of interlocking albums. This is not only the only series that isn't connected to the fictional BTS Universe, but also not strictly a trilogy. August 2014's Dark & Wild is seen as a direct continuation of Skool Luv Affair, making this a trilogy in four parts. Douglas Adams would be proud.
Starting in April 2015, the Youth Trilogy spanned the three The Most Beautiful Moment In Life albums. Focusing on how being young wears you out fast when you feel like you always have to be on the edge, this was the series that first brought the BTS Universe to life.
