2020 Grammy Awards: Predicting The Biggest Winners

Nominees: Black Pumas, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Maggie Rogers, Rosalia, Tank and the Bangas, Yola

There's a lot of solid nominees up for Best New Artist this year, although the category is unfortunately missing obvious inclusions like Megan Thee Stalion and DaBaby. Still, the strong list of those who weren't snubbed will make this one of the closest categories of the night to call.

Since three of these nominees are also up for honors in the other big four categories, that should likely help narrow things down quite a bit though.

It also means that this award is the most likely to help create a repeat winner as well, perhaps making it a bit of a litmus test for who The Record Academy wants to push as it's biggest star and Album Of The Year winner.

Ultimately, that should favor Billie Eilish the most then. Lil Nas X feels far more likely to receive an award in one of the song categories for 'Old Town Road', and the academy may feel its already made a statement by awarding Lizzo the most nominations.

Of course, either of those two could still win and no one would bat an eye, but it feels like Eilish should be favored going into the show with that in mind.
