'Always Remember Us This Way' - Lady Gaga, 'Bad Guy' - Billie Eilish, 'Bring My Flowers Now' - Tanya Tucker, 'Hard Place' - H.E.R., 'Lover' - Taylor Swift, 'Norman F***ing Rockwell' - Lana Del Rey, 'Someone You Loved' - Lewis Capaldi, 'Truth Hurts' - Lizzo

Heading into both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year, its important to remember the distinction between the two categories. Song Of The Year is for the writers and composers of the song, while Record Of The Year takes into account the artist's performance and any producers or engineers who worked on the song.

With that in mind, the song to keep your eye on here will be 'Truth Hurts'. There's been some controversy over the songwriting credits on the hit this past year, but it still feels like it should be the frontrunner in this category regardless.

'Bad Guy' won't be far behind either, though it seems more likely to make an impact in Record Of The Year. Lana Del Rey's 'Norman F***ing Rockwell' is also a strong candidate, but her album of the same name is perhaps a better dark horse candidate than the track itself.

Overall, 'Truth Hurts' just has the most memorable lyrics of the year, and seems to embody everything it is that people love about Lizzo. Controversies aside, she has the clearest path to victory.

Winner: 'Truth Hurts' - Lizzo
