One of the more unfair parts of a guitarists life is that they cant join the school/college/community orchestra. Despite the fact that orchestra is often stereotyped as a place nerds go, anyone who has friends within one will know that it's actually a hub of musical fun where you can play things other than grunge covers. Most orchestras are not updated to take guitarists, despite the fact that classical guitar is one of the most nuanced and beautiful instruments around (#biased). Sure, we get to do cool things like starting a rock band, but sometimes you just want to play instrumental music en masse with a bunch of miscellaneous instrumentalists. Is that so much to ask?
