13. Everyone Makes Mafia Jokes Despite It Being The Wrong Instrument
You carry a big case and suddenly youre clearly carrying a Tommy gun around. Except its a really really enormous Tommy gun. Like, seriously. Have you ever seen a gun that big? Maybe a bazooka in a 90s action movie? And yet, the jokes will come thick and fast, despite the fact that its clearly a guitar (the first clue was probably the Led Zeppelin stickers all over the case). Theres nothing intrinsically wrong with this joke, apart from the fact that it is literally wrong and a pretty awful dad-joke. Like many things, its annoyance stems from repetition, so next time you feel the urge to make a terrible joke about a guitar case, maybe keep schtum, just in case you get a thwack over the head
