Being in a band is awesome, but sadly finding one is harder than films and TV make out, especially for a guitarist. Think about it: how many guitarists do you know? Five? Fifty? And how many drummers? Bassists? Yeah, the odds are against us. Guitarists can be quite particular about the craft too, so its not just that you have hundreds of contenders when joining a band, but hundreds of really painfully talented contenders who can whip out Master of Puppets like its Mary Had A Little Lamb.
