4. Kirk Learned All Of Kill 'Em All In A Month

Many know that Megadeth-frontman Dave Mustaine was kicked out the band just before the recording of their first album, but the fact that Kirk replaced him right there and then means he had to learn every guitar part the band had worked on beforehand as soon as possible.

It's reported that the one song Kirk played flawlessly that got him the gig in the first place was Seek and Destroy, a thunderous rallying cry of an opening riff if there was one, and the perfect introduction for The Ripper that's stood the test of time alongside the band.
