25 Best Thom Yorke Songs

22. Let Down

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z_NvVMUcG8 Artist: RadioheadAlbum: 'OK Computer'Year: 1997 There's something special about every track on 'OK Computer'; it's a collections of songs all of slightly different species. But 'Let Down' is perhaps the song that sums up the band's talents up to that point. It's honeyed melancholia spun from major chords, with one of the most goosebump-inducing moments of the band's career, when Thom reaches falsetto in the middle eight, and it's the blueprint of the album: it's delicate, intimate, and not so much a story as a crop of disconnected feelings. Few see it as a standout from the album, but the album certainly owes a lot to that one track.
