25 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums Of The Last Decade

22. Logic - The Incredible True Story

Unlike every other rapper on this list, it feels like there are more negative things to say about Logic than there are positive. Don't worry, we're not going to do a Joe Budden and call him the worst rapper ever. There are plenty who deserve that title before Logic does. However, we will say that he hasn't made a truly great project since 2015's The Incredible True Story.

As many artists will tell you, making a good concept album can be extremely difficult to pull off. A lot of the time it fails due to listeners not quite understanding the vision that the artist has. However, Logic does an incredible job of making the storyline and themes clear on this record by using skits to further the story along. This allows him to successfully take his listeners on a weird and wonderful journey throughout the hour-plus long album.

In terms of lyrical content and choice of beats, this is Logic at his very best. His flow seems effortless as he lands punchline after punchline and utilises intricate double entendres throughout the album. Usually a record like this would be full of features, yet he manages to handle the vast majority of the album by himself, only allowing a handful of individuals to jump on a track with him. It truly is a brilliant effort from a talented, if not very consistent, artist.
