pink floyd wish you were hereWish You Were Here: After the phenomenal success of The Dark Side of the Moon, the studio execs wanted another album pretty much exactly the same as the last. Instead, Pink Floyd gave them what was basically an elaborate insult to the recording industry, along with some moving tributes to their founder and original singer Syd Barrett. Why Animals Is Better: It is more musically complex. While the chord structure on most songs on the Wish You Were Here album were standard (C, G, Am) or slightly more unusual (Cmaj7), Animals had some insanely difficult chord structures on it, such as Ebmaj7sus2/Bb.
