2. Beyonce - "Standing on the Sun"
While this technically isn't even a real single at the moment or even a confirmed track on Queen B's fifth studio album, there's no way that anyone in the pop music world hasn't at least heard of this absolute gem, particularly seeing as Beyonce herself has performed on her current tour and its release is hugely anticipated. 'Standing on the Sun' is featured in Beyonce's H&M summerwear campaign and while the verses is standard in-love fare for the queen of emotive R&B-pop, the Sia-penned chorus is instantly hummable and a tropical-flavoured delight that is refreshing on the ears. 'Standing on the Sun' is a perfect song for laying out in the sun all day and has no doubt provided plenty of soundtrack for those long hours on the beach with your friends. This is pure sonic sunshine at its finest and a great indication of how Beyonce's next album, whenever it arrives, should be in terms of quality.
