Easily one of the best and most fun tracks that Lovato's ever released, 'Really Don't Care' is a pulsating, toe-tappable tune about dealing with a sneaky ex and their attempts to reconnect. The song rushes along handclaps and beats that are as sweetly hummable as they are catchy. The song isn't anything new, but this upbeat ode to turning tables on an ex who wants you back is a hugely enjoyable tune. The commanding chorus of "even if the stars and moon collide, I never want you back into my life" is an earworm of a lyric that should have been a summer staple and the normally- divisive Cher Lloyd provides a brattily enjoyable middle eight that backs up the girl-power sentiments, making this a duo whose song deserved to be played across radio stations all summer long. There's still time, however, and this could easily be a year-long hit given the right push by radio promoters.
