3. What The Hell
In 2011, Avril released What The Hell, where the videos protagonist was a kleptomaniac who emotionally abused her boyfriend. This behaviour was then encouraged by the events of the video, because cheating on your boyfriend with his mate is just a bit of fun, right ladies? (This is not right, ladies). It's worth noting that Avrils opinion of the album on which this was released was Im older now, so I think that this comes across in my music, its not as pop-rock. The less said about that the better. So the video starts, and Avril locks her super-hot boyfriend in a cupboard before stealing a taxi and driving dangerously down a main road. Her boyfriend, evidently having escaped the cupboard, chases after her on a bike trying to stop her from acting so irrationally, but to no avail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQmEd_UeeIk She casually robs a clothes shop (a crime which her boyfriend then has to pay up for), but in the end he still goes home with her.
