5 Best Glastonbury Headline Sets Of The Last Decade

4. The Rolling Stones

Arguably the biggest and best band to have ever existed, The Rolling Stones had never made an appearance at Worthy Farm prior to 2013, where they returned to the stage for their 50th anniversary tour. It was a surprise to even see The Stones back on stage together, especially after the divide within the band following the release of Keith Richards' autobiography, 'Life', and his comments regarding the size of Mick Jagger's manhood.

It would have been impossible to even imagine that The Rolling Stones could have been anything less than incredible, considering the depth and quality of their half-century discography.

Performing hits spanning their entire career, from 'Gimme Shelter' to 'Paint It Black', as well as a handful of deep cuts such as 1967's '2000 Light Years From Home', and 'Factory Girl', from 1968's 'Beggar's Banquet', which was aptly re-worked to become 'Glastonbury Girl'.

A classic set, from a classic band, which will forever be regarded as one of Pilton's most iconic and memorable sets of all time.
