1. Sam And The Womp - Bom Bom
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsy7kJyizoc Im the cat with the bass and drumIve got a pie in my pocket, an eye in my socket...going round like bom bom bom! This chart slaying, cerebral-cortex tickling track packs a punch on the dance floor but on closer inspection it appears to have been written by a 6 year old high on Ritalin. Although its hardly surprising the bands lead singer goes by the name of Bloem de Ligny a.k.a. Lady Oo, who looks like a miniature and even more crazed (if thats possible) version of Bjork. Their style infuses modern electronic, dance and ermtraditional Balkan music which is certainly a unique mix. The track has gained wider recognition after being used in advertising campaigns around the world, in particular the Southern Comfort ad. The song reached the top the UK singles chart in summer 2012, clearly indicating that when it comes to shaking your bom-bom on the dance floor style favours substance.
