This is true with downloads, but with LPs, you can hug them, tuck them into their shelves and kiss them goodnight (metaphorically speaking of course... probably). This is particularly apparent with second-hand LPs. Sure, the sound quality may be a tad tinny compared to one thats fresher, but think of the journey that LPs been on. From its original release, think of all the hands its been caressed by, all the different kinds of homes its lived in and all the different people its been loved by. As said in the introduction, downloads are known for their immediacy. Once a download goes up, it gets devoured within minutes, but with LPs you can take your time with them. Going from gobbling up a download to savouring an LP is like going from snacking on a Mars bar to tucking into a brownie fudge pie with white chocolate chunks.
