5 Reasons Why You Should Be Listening To The Interrupters

3. Young Faces, But Wise Heads

Don't let their youthful good looks and bags full of energy fool you - The Interrupters aren't new to this music thing.

They may seem like a new, youthful band - but from Rancid and The Transplants, to working on famous musicals, they have a wealth of experience!

The Interrupters formed when Aimee Interrupter, then known as Aimee Allen, met the other three members of the band while both touring with The Dirty Heads and Sugar Ray. Aimee had a very successful singles career playing acoustic anthems, while Jesse, Justin and Kevin were touring with up-and-coming band The Telecasters. Aimee and Kevin would write songs together before roping in Justin and Jesse.

Prior to that, though, Kevin had also toured with Rancid and The Transplants as a touring member - and while they bring bags of energy, The Interrupters' experience definitely shines through.

The energy of teenagers, combined with the stage presence of a band who have been touring all their lives - The Interrupters well and truly bring everything to the stage!
