5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Hate Five Finger Death Punch

1. They’re Good Guys At Heart

Writing checks and posing for photo-ops is effortless. Most bands are contractually obligated to make select appearances and many of them use meet and greets as an opportunity to generate more revenue while on tour.

While any act of gratitude to the fans is commendable, members of Five Finger Death Punch do the right thing whenever the opportunity arises off-stage. Zoltan pulled over to help a police officer change a tire on Christmas Eve.

After retiring from 5FDP, drummer Jeremy Spencer was sworn in as a reserve officer for the Rockport Police Department. When bassist Chris Kael saw a Tweet that a nine-year-old fan’s family couldn’t afford to take her to the show, Kael gave tickets to the family and arranged a meet and greet. Hell, Zoltan offered to fight Justin Bieber for charity.

Will these five facts quell the hatred that Five Finger Death Punch receives?

Certainly not.

The band will continue to build its critics just as fervently as it builds its fanbase. The hope is that the haters at least acknowledge and appreciate the positive impacts 5FDP continue to have on our world.
