5 Stars Who Made Better Music On Drugs

2. Keith Richards

For 50 years, Richards has been one of the co-captains of The Rolling Stones alongside Mick Jagger, and for most of those years Richards has variated between cocaine and heroin, or some combination of the two. He admitted to curiosity as to how chemicals would affect his creativity, likening himself to an alchemist in search of the perfect rock 'n' roll cocktail, but goes on to say that "all experiments come to an end." Richards also said to Rolling Stone that "It's like Churchill said about alcohol, 'Believe me €“ I've taken a lot more out of alcohol than it's ever taken out of me!' And I kind of feel the same way about the dope and stuff. I got something out of it." Most likely what he, and the band, got out of it was the creativity behind some of their biggest hits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a7cHPy04s8
