2. V-Festival - Shropshire/ Chelmsford
Why V-Festival you ask? Beyoncé. Beyoncé is the only thing you need to hear. Having announced her world-tour just weeks before the V-festival Lineup, her tickets were selling for £200 plus. Then it turned out she was appearing at V-festival where for the same price you could see her plus another 30 or so acts. A bit cheeky isn't it? Either way, V-Festival being another of the UK's finest festivals, it always plays host to the worlds finest acts. Like Reading/ Leeds festival, V also has two locations which could be described as 'north' and 'south'. Both large parks where unlike some, you don't feel squashed when seeing an act or simply walking around to see what else is there. In the peak of british weather, august is the perfect festival month as previous years have been some of the hottest days in the year. The downside, if you can even call it a downside.. is that often V-festval and T In The Park have been known to share acts. Where this year they seem to be sharing Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, Emeli Sandé, The Script, Beady Eye, Two Door Cinema Clue and the list goes on. Not a problem if your not a keen traveler so you can attend the nearest one to you and this can also be seen as a positive if you want to see these acts more than once. However, its always been the case their you either go to T In The Park or V-Festival, not both. Weekend camping tickets cost £185
