7 Insane Fan Dedication Stories You Won't Believe

4. Fan Writes K-Pop Idol A Letter Using Menstrual Blood And Pubic Hair

Ok Taec-Yeon is a Korean rapper, dancer, singer, and actor, best known for his work as a member of the Korean boy band 2PM. You can see him fifth on the right in the above photo/album cover, looking moody in monochrome with his bandmates. More importantly for our purposes, though, he claims ownership to one of the most putrid tales of fan obsession known to mankind. Back in 2009, Taec-Yeon received a cryptic poem from a fan. That, in itself, is a little off-putting. But oh, wait. It gets worse: It seems that the fan in question decided to write that poem out using her own goddamned menstrual blood. Wow, it really can't get worse than that...c-can it? Oh, it can. Because after finishing up her bloody surprise, that fan finished off the letter with a little sprinkling of pubic hair€”you know, just to make it that much more special. As any sane human would do upon receiving an envelope full of bloody bodily fluids and wiry hair, Ok Taec-yeon kind of freaked out. Maybe it was the way his fan wrote the poem, or the haunting words of the poem itself. We'll leave that for you to decide. It reads: I dedicate to Taecyeon my period blood letter Ok Taecyeon, You cannot live without me Sprinkled with a few strands of my pubes At the time of its discovery, the letter caused an uproar among media and fans alike, ultimately prompting the fan to apologise: "I am sorry. I apologise for bothering Taecyeon as well as his fans. I didn't know it would get this big. I am not a SahSaeng fan, but just an obsessive girl." But not before posting pictures of her bloody underwear to prove that it wasn't a fake. Grim. We could provide links with visuals to back up this story, but we'd rather you venture down that rabbit hole at your own risk.
