7 Musical Comebacks That Failed Spectacularly

2. Dru Hill

Long before Sisqo was celebrating the butt cheeks of the summer of '99 with the "Thong Song," he was a member of Dru Hill, a popular R&B/soul group that specialized in baby-making music. They had such a good thing going that Sisqo decided to leave his group mates high and dry immediately following their hugely successful sophomore album. But, as we all know, the Sisqo train wasn't meant to roam the tracks for very long. (Two years, to be exact.) So, out of the kindness of his heart and from the bottom of his empty wallet, he decided to get the gang back together in 2008. They made this wonderful announcement live on a Baltimore radio station. Not ten minutes later, one of the members, James "Woody" Green, makes his own announcement, which is that he would be leaving the group to "follow God's calling." Sisqo freaked out and left the studio immediately, yelling "I wish you would've told us this YESTERDAY." The other group members got physical with Green. It was a beautiful disaster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4toUG-tZItU
