6. Annoying Everyone During Rehearsals
It seems obvious to state that drums are one of the loudest musical instruments on this planet, but we're going to state it anyway. The reason for repeating such a glaring statement is simple, and it has to do with every other musician instantly forgetting that drums will be loud as soon as they step foot in a rehearsal room.
There's perhaps nothing a drummer hears more during practice than, "Mate, be quiet a minute while we tune our instruments". There are several reasons why this is offensive, and oh you had to know we were going to list all of them!
Firstly, the offending bandmates don't appear concerned if the singer is droning away in the background, or even blasting music on their phone. Second, the use of the word 'instruments' in the sentence suggests that drums don't fit into that category.
So, whilst everyone else plays around with their instrument of choice, the drummer sits sad and alone behind his/her kit wondering what the penalty would be for lobbing a stick at someone.
