Rock stars don’t come much more controversial than our Brian, unless they’re Mr. West. Even with his stage name, he decided to juxtapose every female, middle-aged Facebook account holder’s favourite misplaced quote icon with America’s most infamous murderous cult leader, no doubt infuriating everyone who still likes to tell themselves that Marilyn Monroe was a saint.

Manson’s probably the biggest rock star on the metal scene, in terms of notoriety if not deeds (that title would need to go to pretty much all of Pantera) and has stirred up as much controversy as Kanye in the past. The Anti-Christ Superstar is as famous for his ‘striking’ appearance, fetishism, those fake norks, borderline pornographic music videos, self-harm onstage and Satanism as he is for his music.

Manson has made an entire career off the back of being deliberately provocative, offensive mainly for the sake of it, outrageous and someone teenagers fall in love with because he embodies everything their parents hate. It's also "art" as he would call it; he genuinely seems like a pleasant bloke who decided to really push the envelope with his weirdness, mainly to upset uppity religious sorts. Kanye West decided to upset racists everywhere as much as possible at the beginning of his Yeezus tour, by selling t-shirts with the Confederate Flag on them, stating "I took the Confederate Flag and made it my flag. It's my flag. Now what are you going to do?" Oh and, on the same tour, he got a guy onstage dressed as Jesus.
