8 Amazing Rock Bands From The 2000s You Forgot Even Existed

5. Alien Ant Farm

It's understandable that when a band is best known for a cover of someone else's song (in this case, Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal) that they might ultimately fade from the general population's radar. Nevertheless Alien Ant Form have released five studio albums over the course of their career, and have sold over five million records worldwide. Despite releasing their first album in 1999 (humorously titled Greatest Hits), it wasn't until their second record ANThology, released in 2001, that the band really took off. ANThology was home to that previously mentioned Michael Jackson cover, which was a top ten single in many provinces around the world and significantly boosted their popularity. Despite further success with their song Movies from the same album, the band began to drift away from the mainstreamm causing many to forget about their existence. Nevertheless they continued to tour and record music, releasing a further three albums, the fifth of which (titled Always And Forever) was released as recently as 2015.
