8 Amazing Rock Bands From The 2000s You Forgot Even Existed

4. Good Charlotte

Back in the not so distant past, everybody was singing this band's songs. Good Charlotte dominated the radio with a string of tracks so sweet and catchy they were basically diabetes-inducing. At least, that's how the band's success started out, anyway. Despite a self-titled debut dropping in 2002, it wasn't until 2002's follow up The Young And The Hopeless that the band really rocked onto the world's radar. The Anthem. Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous. Girls & Boys. Just a few of the wildly popular songs that came from the album. There was nothing particularly complex about these songs, but they were infectious nevertheless, the kind of tunes you couldn't help but sing along with even when you tried your best not to. The Young And The Hopeless was followed up by 2004's The Chronicles Of Life And Death, which further cemented the bands ability to pump out faux-edgy pop rock classics like I Just Wanna Live and Predictable. After that, however, the world seemed to move on from Good Charlotte, forgetting the value of the band's unashamed catchiness. It probably didn't help that 2007's Good Morning Revival saw something of a change in sound for the band, never more apparent than in the record's lead single Dance Floor Anthem.
