8 Famous Songs That Have The Absolute Dumbest Sequels

5. Lou Bega - "Mambo No. 5"

This may be stretching the definitions of the words "sequel" (and "song"), but this is about as close to a continuation as it gets. First, if you don't remember Lou Bega's improbably popular ode to polygamy, then congratulate yourself on escaping the 90s without this added trauma.

Next, go back up to the picture up top and marvel at how thin this man was able to trim his mustache. Then watch the follow-up off track, "I Got a Girl," which appears just four songs later on the same album.

While admiring its wispiness, take note of the three main concepts of both songs: 1) Lou Bega likes to begin songs by proving he knows how to count, 2) Lou Bega likes to have a little bit of sex with a whole lotta ladies, and 3) Lou Bega prefers that they all have different names and/or live in different cities, like he's working his way through a sexual scavenger hunt.
