8 More Legends We'd Like To See Tour As Holograms

8.Jim Morrison

The Lizard King. Jim Morrison was one of the singly most controversial musicians in rock history, choc-full of masculinity and bull-headed aggression, his brief existence made seismic waves. Like his idol, Elvis Presley, Morrison was empowered by a lusty nature and bravado reaching epic proportions. Born James Douglas Morrison on December 8, 1943, in Melbourne, Florida, the would-be singer was a controversial young man who explored the weird and the worrying fruits of existence very early on. His personality was hell-bent on making an impact and sparking controversy, so the rock-star way of life was an apt choice for Morrison. His work with The Doors produced many oddities and unsettling sounds that caused alarm for a great quantity of worried parents, as the band thrilled a new generation of idealists and experimenters as the crest of the sixties wave rose. Morrison€™s showmanship singled him out above everyone else in that era, as he was able to both bewilder and frighten people in equal measure as he ran wild like a shaman before hordes of spellbound fans. His decadent exploits and hedonistic mind consigned him to an early and mysterious death, and yet his fleeting, transient star would shine brightly long after his demise.
