9 Famous Albums The World Will Never Hear
7. Wu-Tang Clan Once Upon A Time In Shaolin

When it comes to hip hop, New York group the Wu-Tang Clan are one of the most foundational and influential artists on the scene, having released the 1993 seminal classic Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). From there the group continued to drop records and garner critical and commercial success alike.
When news broke of a Wu-Tang Clan double album, then, fans were over the moon, but this excitement soon turned sour when it was revealed the band intended to press only on a single copy on vinyl. The album was to be something of an artistic statement rather than a completely commercial product.
In 2015 the album was sold to pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli for two million dollars. Shkreli is allowed to release the album for free or play it during listening parties, but cannot sell the record until the year 2103. At present, Shkreli states he has no intention of releasing the record to the public, meaning he remains one of the few people in the world to ever hear it.
Sadly for all Wu fans currently living, basically every single one will be dead by 2103. But hey...the generation after the next one might get to enjoy it, right?
