9 Weirdest Marketing Gimmicks Ever Used To Sell Music Albums

4. Rammstein's Boxed Set of Dildos

German industrial metal band Rammstein aren't famous because of their tact and delicacy. So when they decided to release a special edition of their album Liebe ist für alle da in 2009, it was expected that they wouldn't want to do a simple repackaging of the material, with the minimally required bells and whistles tacked onto it. Though, if anyone actually expected what Rammstein did come up with, that person should probably be kept away from playgrounds or any public eateries. Because Rammstein decided to include some new, ahem, "material" for their fans. That material being latex. That latex belonging to dildos. More accurately, they chose to include 6 dildos of varying sizes, each one carefully rendered from the shapes of the six band members' members. In case you're wondering, they are all "to scale."
