AC/DC - EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

5. High Voltage (1976)

The bands first international album, 1976’s High Voltage was a combination of tracks from the Australian exclusive albums High Voltage and T.N.T. - both originally released in 1975. Some of the albums tracks, namely the title track, featured performances from Tony Currenti on the drums and George Young, older brother of Angus and Malcolm, on bass guitar.

While the album didn’t feature any singles, High Voltage features some of AC/DC’s classic songs. T.N.T. was the bands earliest song to reach a wide audience and is a fan favourite track to this day. The album’s title track, High Voltage, is another strong showing for the band.

The album track Live Wire is another good song, which while not as strong as any of AC/DC’s future hits, still begins to give listeners a taste of the bands energy.

The song It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) is a very song entry from the album. Audiences are introduced to Bon Scott’s eccentric yet captivating personality, with his unique choice to perform with Bagpipes on a rock song. This unique choice, as well as a strong performance from the Young brothers and from Scott on vocals, makes this the best song the album has to offer.
