AC/DC - EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

6. Black Ice (2008)

From the bands worst album commercially to their best, 2008’s Black Ice was a global smash hit for AC/DC. The album topped charts around to world, including Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, the album is the final appearance of founding member Malcolm Young, who was unable to perform on 2014’s Rock or Bust due to health reasons.

While four singles were released from the album, the title track - Black Ice - remained as an album track. Black Ice is a slower song compared to other songs from the album, but still brings the same AC/DC energy due to a strong vocal performance from Brain Johnson.

The four songs released as singles were Rock 'n' Roll Train, Big Jack, Anything Goes and Money Made. Of these tracks, Rock 'n' Roll Train is easily the strongest song the album has to offer. Big Jack, the second single, is another great high energy song.

The album tracks from Black Ice also bring a solid performance from the band, an area AC/DC were falling behind in since the release of 1980’s Back in Black. Notable album tracks include War Machine, She Likes Rock 'n' Roll and Wheels.

Throughout the entire album, the band is consistently on top form, making Black Ice stand out compared to the majority of recent AC/DC albums.
