AC/DC - EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

8. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976)

AC/DC’s second international album, 1976’s Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap features some classic hits from the Bon Scott era. Scott only performed on five of the bands albums, and while this does feature some of his more iconic work, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap fails to bring the same package that AC/DC’s other 1970’s albums contain.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, the album’s title track and second single, is a fan favourite AC/DC song. The track is one of the best from the album to capture Scott’s charm as lead singer. The album features three other singles: Jailbreak, Love at First Feel and Ride On.

While Jailbreak and Love at First Feel are both great tracks, Ride On’s slower tone fails to bring the same power as the harder rock hits.

The album tracks Problem Child and Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round to Be a Millionaire) are both solid entries into AC/DC’s library, with the latter perhaps being the best song the album has to offer. While Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is undeniably a classic album, it falls short compared to the consistent strength of AC/DC’s other albums.
