9. Crows On A Wire

Right then, how about a nice, thick RIFF to start a track?

Not since AB III's Isolation has something announced its presence with quite so much gusto, but Crows on a Wire appears to be a laser-guided missile aimed squarely at the notion of fame and Hollywood's top brass in general.

"'Cause they're waiting just like crows on a wire, they pry and conspire, that's all they do. Baiting to consume and devour, the glory and power they gave to you."

Crows on a Wire also marks one of the many times Myles himself performs some vocal acrobatics, effortlessly showing off his entire range on a chorus that has more highs and lows than a high-wire act.

Listen out for: The STUPIDLY awesome-sounding pinch harmonic that opens the solo at 2:39. Not since B-side Save Me have I repeatedly listened to just one note over and over.
