Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky: Every Song Ranked From Worst To Best

3. The Bitter End

On the majority of Alter Bridge albums there is at least one song different from the rest, in that it is a slightly softer respite from the full throttle pace of the rest of the tracks. Blackbird had Watch Over You, ABIII had Wonderful Life and Life Must Go On, and Fortress had All Ends Well.

Walk The Sky's answer to this is The Bitter End, on the face of it a strange title for possibly the most upbeat and positive song on an album focused largely around darker subjects and themes. This is why the message of the track is so important however, that no matter what will happen, live and enjoy the here and now before that end comes.

Myles really demonstrates the pure power behind his voice on this track, particularly when belting out the chorus, making this life-affirming song one of the best, and most important on the whole album.
