Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky: Every Song Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Walking On The Sky

For any album, the track from which it takes its name is usually one of the highlights. Throughout their fifteen years, Alter Bridge have adhered to this trend with One Day Remains, Blackbird, Fortress, and The Last Hero, and in 2019, Walk The Sky is no different, despite the slight abbreviation.

Seemingly telling the story of the worry and anxiety before taking a big risk in life, and the potential fall from grace if it doesn't pay off, the band tackle a real issue with Walking On The Sky.

Following an ominous synth style intro, the undeniable, immeasurable chemistry between Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti is on display here once again, as the two harmonize throughout the verses before ascending to what is possibly the most memorable chorus on the entire album.
