Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky: Every Song Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Native Son

There are so many themes and trends that stick through Walk The Sky, including the incredibly heavy guitar riffs that feature in the majority of the tracks. While the band have certainly flexed this muscle in the past, with the likes of Crows On A Wire and Show Me A Sign, their sixth album takes this to a new level.

Of all the monstrous riffs and heavy hooks from Walk The Sky, Native Son may take the crown so to speak, as something that wouldn't feel out of place on a Tremonti album. This, contrasted with the mysterious, almost Middle-Eastern sounding intro, are sure make Native Son a fan favourite at the live shows to come.

The song that was heavily considered to be the first single released is based around a feeling of alienation and loneliness, which is something that everyone can relate to at one time or another.
