Brandon Flowers: 10 Best Covers You Need To Hear

Perhaps one of the best features of this 2013 cover is just how much fun Brandon seems to have in justifying it to the audience. In reality it should be no surprise that the band has such a sense of humour that they could pull off such a cover, and once the crowd gets into it the justification seems so unnecessary...

Nevertheless this is another cover that will go down as classic festival fodder for the band; it stuck in the rotation through the 2013 festival circuit and even made an appearance in the enormous Wembley show that same year. It speaks to the humility of the four members that a band boasting a catalogue of stadium-worthy anthems still finds time to shake things up and take a chance on a risky cover, even with the world watching.

On the evidence of the reaction it received however, it seems that risk was definitely worth taking. There won't be many bands brave enough to try to steal this from Flowers & co. any time soon!
