Bring Me The Horizon: Ranking Every Album Worst To Best
5. That's The Spirit
Okay, we’re getting into good album territory now.
That’s the Spirit released in 2015 and, along with it, came a new level of live shows for BMTH. This album took them from the mid-sized venues, that they’d been playing for the best part of a decade, and fired the band onto the arena tour circuit.
This was, in no small part, due to the release of numerous singles on the run-up to the record hitting shelves. Floor fillers like Throne and Happy Song were blasted in rock clubs across the world and emotional anthem, Drown, was destined to be a favourite at live shows before the full album had even seen the light of day.
The album may not quite have reached the heights of some of its predecessors as an overall piece, but its singles helped the band make a massive leap forward and reach new audiences. This may have been a case of quality over quantity when it came to the top-tier tracks. However, when a band pushes the tier this high, they can 100% get away with it.
It feels wrong to have That’s the Spirit so far down this list, but that’s only a testament to the wonderful albums still to come.
