Bring Me The Horizon: Ranking Every Album Worst To Best
4. Post Human: Survival Horror
Post Human: Survival Horror released in 2020 and is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best album the band has released since 2013.
This record is the perfect compilation of all BMTH’s innovations so far. Riffs are heavy, screams are loud, clean vocals are melodic and they even managed to work in some of the synth, poppy sounds from Amo in a way that compliments the tracks they’re attributed to.
Surprising collaborations from Yungblud, Babymetal and Amy Lee appear on the record and produce some of its strongest tracks. The sheer variety of vocal and musical styles is impressive for a pretty short album and it all just works so well together in what could be considered a bitesize masterpiece.
In a time plagued by lockdowns, no live shows and an overall cloud of depression in the atmosphere, it’s refreshing to see bands release music of this calibre.
Needless to say, when concerts make their return, BMTH are going to have some absolute stormers to bust out.
