Former Roxy Music lead, and legendary solo artist Bryan Ferry announces two special gigs in the capital in the run up to Christmas
Listen up Boys and Girls: the legendary Bryan Ferry - one of the most iconic and innovative singers and lyricists to grace the stage, has announced his returns to O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in West London for two very special shows on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th of December 2011. Over a remarkable forty year career that has seen him hit the top of both the British single and album charts as a solo artists as well as being the enigmatic leader of Roxy Music, Ferry has released some of the most iconic, recognisable pop music songs ever recorded. His work has transcended the generic limitations that the notoriously fickle musical industry has thrown about over those four decades, and tracks like "Jealous Guy" (written by the late great John Lennon), "Avalon" and "Let's Stick Together" will endure long after the manufactured sugar-sweet pop that has been peddled by so-called moguls in recent times have disappeared from memory.
